Privacy Policy — Korean Seekho

Korean Seekho (“the app”) is a Korean language learning app for Hindi speakers, operated by Momentum Co., Ltd. (주식회사 모멘텀), a company registered in the Republic of Korea, under its Teriwell brand. The app is completely free: no in-app purchases, no ads, and no account is required or offered in the current version.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data.

• The app has no sign-up, no account, and never asks for your name, email, phone number, or any other identifying information.
• Learning progress. Your lesson progress, streak, and review schedule are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and they are deleted when you delete the app.
• We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs, and we never sell any data — there is nothing to sell.

Device Permissions

Some features ask for device permissions. They are optional, and none of them send data to us:

• Microphone / speech recognition — used only for pronunciation practice. Your speech is processed through your device’s built-in speech framework; we do not record, upload, or store your voice on any server of ours.
• Photo library (save only) — used only when you choose to save a wallpaper or share card to your device.
• Notifications — daily study reminders are scheduled locally on your device at a time you choose. There is no push server.
• The app uses your device’s built-in text-to-speech engine to play Korean pronunciation. This happens entirely on your device.

International Data Transfers

None. Since we collect no data, no data crosses borders.

Data Retention & Deletion

All app data (lessons, streak, review schedule, settings) lives on your device and is deleted when you delete the app. We hold nothing on our servers to retain or delete.

Your Rights

Wherever you are — including your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you can contact us about privacy at any time; the contact below also serves as our grievance contact. Since we hold no data about you, requests for access, correction, or deletion are satisfied by default, but we will still respond within 7 days.

Children’s Privacy

The app is suitable for all ages. It is fully usable without providing any personal information, and we do not perform tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising for anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version of the app adds features that collect data (such as optional accounts, cloud sync of progress, in-app purchases, or AI tutoring conversations), this policy will be updated first and the app will ask for your consent before that feature is used.
